Who we are?

WrOpenUp was created in 2012 in Wrocław to educate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. WrOpenUp volunteers are experts from 37 countries from global organisations based in Wrocław (Google, IBM, Volvo, Credit Suisse, HP Inc., HPE, EY, BNY Mellon and many others), academics, journalists, artists, and experts from non-governmental organisations. Since 2012 we’ve developed educational programs and campaigns for students aged 13 – 18, both to shape their openness to diversity, equity and inclusion, and to prepare them for the job market of the future. As part of the programs we’ve created and facilitated workshops such as Cross-Cultural Competence (core workshop), Design Thinking, Project Management, Presentation Skills and Leadership Skills for over 190 teachers, 260 volunteers (trainers) from 37 countries and about 2800 students.
